Using low-wattage tube amps and budget guitars, two guys from either side of the Red River make simple, heartfelt music with roots in country, pop and rock: Americana in its purest form.
NOTES
Recorded over a span of two years in a home studio, "Echo" is a true labor of love. Two ordinary guys took vacation days from their jobs selling furniture (Frank Colwell) and editing a weekly newspaper (Joe McClour) to blow off a little steam. What began as a friendship became a genuine musical collaboration. The subject matter ranges from middle-class malaise ("Feels Like the End") to upbeat nostalgia ("Echo"), covering relationships both good and bad along the way.
